Perfect labrador conditions at Haigh Woodland Park.

A friend recommended visiting Haigh Woodland Park with Lily and Henry after hearing about our 1000 mile challenge. It has a few signposted walking routes to choose from that vary in distance and intensity so we chose the longest route through the huge woodland and along the River Douglas, crossing over the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to explore the quarry. We spent five hours exploring the park, stopping at dinner time for a dog friendly picnic. This is the longest walk that we've completed together, totalling 11.6 miles but we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The total mileage walked since 1st January 2018 is now 79.84 miles which we are very proud to have achieved.
